E. ExlinePrincipal Creative, enthusiastic, and a positive energy ...broad and talented with a tasteful flair for the dramatic. Davids influence on the creative process has been described in a variety of notable ways. With a very early interest in the arts, David has participated in theater, drama, music, drawing, photography, creative writing, and architecture throughout most of his life. Born and raised in the Mid West, David will always think of Salina, Kansas as home. Graduating Cum Laude he obtained an accredited Bachelor of Science Degree of Architecture from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. During his years at Kansas State, he earned several notable credits including membership in Tau Sigma Delta, an Honor Society in Architecture and Allied Arts. He served as Chapter President of his social fraternity Beta Theta Pi, as well as Student Senator representing the College of Arts & Sciences for the KSU Student Senate. Other highlights during the university years included a summer legislative internship for Senator Bob Dole in Washington, DC, and a sevenmonth architectural internship with HARDY HOLTZMAN PFEIFER ASSOCIATES in Manhattan, New York.
Davids first job after college was with MORTER ARCHITECTS in Vail,
Colorado. During these years he earned his Architectural License from
the State of Colorado. Soon after, he enjoyed an opportunity to work closely
with wellknown Disney designer Mr. Rolland Rolly Crump,
who offered him a designers position within the entertainment industry
in Southern California.After a year in Southern California, David founded Exline Design Services in 1985. As principal, he continues working within the design profession servicing the developmental industries, and pursues entertainment work, creative concept development, project master planning, exhibit & show design, retail development, mixeduse development, and custom residential design. |
